stand in truth

Everyone seems to have their own opinion on what truth is. I question how can there be opposing truth’s? My understanding of truth is that it is absolute and anything else is a perception of said truth.

It is important for us to distinguish this within ourselves.

Truth is Natural Law, to stand in truth we need to go within and embody these Natural Laws.

We need to do the inner work to Know ourselves so well that we Know when we are not in alignment with these Natural Laws.

This quote speaks to me about this journey “Truth is not what you want it to be, it is what it is, and you must bend to its power or live a lie” – Miyamoto Musashi

The painting Stand In Truth is from an art process in 2014 when I began uncovering my inner self and understanding these principles of Natural Law. It is my life’s work to embody them every day.

When we do process art in a group each person anonymously writes a sentence based on the work and then each sentence is read in sequential order as a paragraph, this is what came from this work:

Stand in your Truth

ancient knowledge in hills of chaos

prepared and strong – ready to receive

the power of woman’the liberty of the artistic mind rises above the strife of the world

strength and integrity amidst sorrow and strife

a golden warrior angel

how do we survive the pain of our times
